Protesting, protesting, protesting
The students fight for what's right
But how they do it is rather vexing
They stay on the streets day an night.
They call this anti-culture
They say it hurts the government.
Hanging around like a vulture,
Looking for times to strike.
Segregation
Separation
Not necessary
Not equal
No one cares
No one helps
We are in this together
And we need to stand strong
To rid the nation of this disease
And help the other see
How unfair this separation can be.
Watergate,
How can we hate
The one so loved?
He was our guiding light
But he has taken our trust away
With his conspiracies covered in blight.
Why would he do it?
What did he see?
Who can we trust?
The only one I can trust now is me.
The war in Vietnam
Is one that can't be won
Without the loss of all our lives
And I hope we can stop it before it becomes our drives
To end it at all costs
And have ourselves become morally lost.
OPEC
Needs to stay in check
They raise the prices
We gain more vices
They need more oil
Or we start to boil
This is an outrage
That "empty" will always be on our gauge.
